Is Jogging Good for Older Adults?

I don’t think older adults need to stay away from impact exercises. I get the question sometimes “Is jogging safe for older adults? I point people to a study from 2013 that indicates the opposite.

Older adults who regularly engage in impact activities like sprint intervals and functional weight training do better than those who don’t.

Especially when it comes to slowing age related decline. Study.

I think that’s one of the main reasons why someone would exercise hard well past their 50’s and 60’s.
